Help Donna Get Back on Her Feet

Donation protected

Hi there,

We're doing this fundraiser for Donna Kneesch. She is newly widowed. Her husband Ken passed away after a short health battle and was the provider of their home. Now she's left with the bills, the rent, funeral expenses and is looking for a job in this crazy Covid climate. In lieu of flowers, we've decided to put together this fundraiser so that many can give and hopefully make these next few months slightly less burdensome while she adjusts to life on her own.

If you knew Ken, you were likely blessed by his positive demeanor and joyful attitude.

Kenneth George Kneesch passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, August 9, 2021 in Vernon BC.

Ken was born April 2, 1956 in Climax Saskatchewan. He is predeceased by his parents, Hermann & Pearl Kneesch of Kelowna BC.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Kneesch of Lake Country, BC, daughter Lisa (Rob) Grieve of Comox BC; sons Darryl (Annette) Kneesch of Calgary, AB; Alan (Kaylee) Kneesch of Rocanville SK; brothers David (Dianne) Kneesch of Lake Country BC; Lloyd Kneesch of Jordan; sisters Joanne (Kelvin) Willness of Salmon Arm, BC; Karen (Blaine) Wiley of Vulcan, AB; and brother in law Dale (Bev) Campbell of Fernie, BC. His 9 grandchildren, Kiara, Jaris, Chase, Keaston, Rylen, Jaxx, Alara, Miya and Tayen as well as 5 nieces & 5 nephews and extended family.

Ken was the 3rd of 5 children. The Kneesch family came from humble beginnings in Climax Saskatchewan and Ken carried that humility throughout his life. Ken made his choice to serve God when he was 9 years old and he was faithful throughout his life and always trusted in the leading of God’s Spirit.

After Ken graduated high school, he moved to Edmonton to live with his brother Dave while he attended NAIT to get a certificate in computer technology. Ken & Donna were married in 1978. Their daughter Lisa was born in 1980. Then their son Darryl followed in 1983 and son Alan shortly after in 1984.

He was a skilled computer technician and enjoyed working as an IT specialist his whole career.

Ken was loved by all who knew him and his gentle spirit touched many lives.
