Yaquelin’s family has been torn apart by deportation in early January of this year. A father and a child ripped away from the rest of their family!

They only want what any family would want: to take care of each other and be together. But now that they've been separated, each person in the family has taken on more responsibilities caring for each other. This includes their 17-year-old, who is working, studying and helping his stepmom raise his infant brother.

And Mom, Yaquelin, has to raise her baby without her husband while working, and while missing her other young child, a one year old, who was deported with their dad.

This year brought this family so much pain and stress, and they've adapted. If you can offer any relief on their expenses (food, rent, legal fees, babysitting fees), it will certainly help empower them to continue making crucial decisions as a family, supporting each other even while they're cruelly separated across borders.

La familia de Yaquelin ha sido destrozada por la deportación a principios de enero de este año. ¡Un padre y un hijo han sido arrancados del resto de su familia!

Solo desean lo que cualquier familia desearía: cuidarse mutuamente y estar juntos. Pero ahora que han sido separados, cada miembro de la familia ha asumido mayores responsabilidades en el cuidado de los demás. Esto incluye a su hijo de 17 años, quien trabaja, estudia y ayuda a su madrastra a criar a su hermano pequeño.

Y la madre, Yaquelin, tiene que criar a su bebé sin su esposo mientras trabaja, y mientras extraña a su otro hijo pequeño —de un año de edad—, quien fue deportado junto con su padre.

Este año ha traído a esta familia mucho dolor y estrés, y aun así han logrado adaptarse.
