Yandy went to the doctor for what he thought was a cyst on his neck. A PET scan and biopsy confirmed it was Oropharyngeal Cancer.
After meeting with the Oncology team at OU Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City, the treatment plan was decided upon. Yandy was diagnosed with Stage 2 Tongue Cancer, in the tonsils, and it has spread to the left lymph node. Yandy will begin treatment in 2 weeks in Oklahoma City for Chemotherapy and Radiation 5 days a week for 7 weeks.
Yandy is the hardest worker and he is the best hand around. He has always been known to have a huge heart and is on most cowboy’s speed dial when back up is needed. He loves picking up at rodeos, keeping cowboys safe, mentoring so many youth, and he does it all with love and passion. He cherishes every moment with his wife of 23 years, Bobbi, and two precious girls, Yaleigh and Y’leigh. 
Yandy is the all-around husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, cowboy and dang good pick up man!!
I could go on and on about what kind of amazing, kind, caring, person he is, but right now Yandy needs our help!!!!
Yandy and Bobbi will have to stay in OKC during the treatments majority of the time and this will place a huge burden on their family. The financial cost of scans, test, X-rays, labs, treatments, dental, traveling, and lodging. Please join us To help take away some of the financial strain placed on them.
We would love for Yandy to just be able to focus on healing his body and beating this cancer.
