It breaks my heart to inform everyone that our friend Yannira has tragically passed away this weekend. Yannira was driving home with her daughter when a wrong way driver collided with them. She's survived by her daughter Genevieve who is 13 years old. We are hoping that everyone who knew and loved Yannira can come together for and her daughter. We would like to fundraise to cover Genevieve's future college expenses.
Yannira was a single mother who always put her daughter first. Yannira recently graduated from SDSU in May of this year with a BA and 3 AA degrees. She had always worked so hard to be a great mother, provider, and example for her daughter. We are heartbroken and hope to be strong for Gen and to be of support through this difficult time.
