Help Support Yanni Fight Kidney Disease

Dear Friends,

This campaign has been set up to help my dear cousin, Yanni-Junn Miguel, who is living in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, as he battles against a rapidly advancing kidney disease.

We have put this GoFundMe to raise financial support for Yanni as he undergoes dialysis and waits to match with a kidney donor, gets a transplant, and gets through recovery.

Yanni-Junn Miguel is just a 26 years old, simple, kind-hearted, young man with big dreams. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5, or what they call End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). He now depends on dialysis treatment via fistula to survive but this is not a long-term solution. The unfortunate reality is that this is going to be Yanni’s life until a suitable donor can be found, and he can get a transplant. His kidneys are functioning at less than 10% capacity and his health continues to decline. Since his diagnosis, Yanni has had to stop working.

Stage 5 is the last stage and the only way for Yanni to get through this and continue living a longer life is to have a kidney transplant.
