This is a message from Yani’s wife Sarah! Thank you Sarah for all that you do. 

My beautiful, kind, loving, hilarious, amazing wife Yani Lamlech passed away at 

4:29 pm today. 

“Yanira” means God’s gift. Yani was the greatest gift I have ever received. We got to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of our meeting (May 16 2018) and the 8 month anniversary of our wedding (Oct 4 2021). 

Yani was more than I ever knew to dream I could have in this life. She made me so so happy. I never knew someone could love me for exactly who I am, and she did. She loved me so much and I loved her so very very much. Yani’s kindness was boundless. Yani knew the nature of people and cared for them. Yani helped people to see the goodness within and encouraged you to be the best version of yourself. Yani was a friend to many, many people. Yani was a sister and a daughter; and she loved her family fiercely.

I have had the greatest privilege of my life knowing Yani for these short 1,102 days, and an even greater privilege calling her my wife ❤️☀️❤️

If Yani has taught me anything, it would be to live life at it’s fullest. If there was something Yani wanted, she went for it. She bought it. She made it. She learned it. She earned it. She married it (her. Me!!). 

I don’t know why death has come for her so soon. I don’t know why, but I asked her to find me when it’s my time to leave this earth. She said she would. She said she would find me, and Yani always keeps her promises

My wife, my friend, my love. Yanira Lamlech. You will be so so missed. 

Something I’d say when we first started dating, teasing her, trying to seem nonchalant about how much I really really loved her... I’d say... 

“I’ll see you when I see you”
