Hi everyone as an organization we do have struggles when it comes to food and other basic needs and therefore we want to start to do some sort of investment which can help us sustain income to be able to look at after these vulnerable kids. This is investment will then be used as a source of income for kiss’s needs, be a good, clothes, school.

We appreciate the support and everything but we would love to make this project a sustainable project so that we can help more people and be able to stand on our own feet and to expand.

here is the breakdown of everything:

The first investment is farming And we have long term farming and short term farming and we will do both livestock farming and crop production.

Long term

These to start we mostly need land and also a farmer who can help us with clearing the land and planting, the seedlings prices are better.

2nd

(Fruit farming)

We already got land for this and farmers are cleaning it up so now we will need to just get seedlings of the fruits we want. Mostly hybrid since they don’t take much time to grow and produce.

So the fruits we getting are guavas,mangoes,oranges,passion fruits and many more.

The break down for this it’s in the box below.this fruit farming will help us to start yana factory to produce juice ,jam and many more and these things will be on the market and also good for our kids.

Short term investment on farming

1st vegetable farming

Most people where we coming from love to eat vegetables and we have a good weather and soil for vegetables so if we can be able to plant on a big farm it can help us alot because it will have high demand and also our kids will be able to eat vegetables everyday on this the some of the vegetables we planting are.

2nd

Green house farming

So we got educated on the green house farming and we were told we can be farming like green yellow and red pepper,tomatoes because these things have a big market here. So all we need here is someone setting up a green house for us and there is a company that does that and they charge $2500-$3000 per green house.

(Animal farming)

We want to do animal farming for daily products since we also do need these almost everyday for the kids and plus here we don’t have any factory that produces cheeses so we can we producing milk and cheese to generate income for yana.so we will start with cows and goats and these will mostly need a farmer to look after them and also some structures so they can sleep in them . The budget is bellow too

4th

(Poultry farming)

We need to keep some chicken for eggs and this will help more in both ways and since chickens don’t take much time to start laying eggs so we will need to build a chicken house and plus get some needed materials for it and it will be needing food frequently.

5th

Lastly is fishing farming we received an offer of someone organization saying they will help us digging the fish ponds but what we will need to do is get fish and food . The ponds will be for free so looking forward to this aswell.
