Yana's Mama- Samantha Lyman

Our selfless Yana Mama, Sam, is in need of our help. She has given and supported and held everyone that has even so much as looked at the studio.

As some may know Sams story, 9 years ago Sam had her first loud and clear health crises that lead to severe cognitive and gross motor impairments. Severe weakness, partial and temporary paralysis of the legs, speech and vision challenges and more. While the diagnosis was left unclear Sam pushed forward and tended to her healing in the best ways she grew to know how- plant medicine and lifestyle changes. Yoga + Yana being a firm root to her foundation of support along the way. After many years of going in and out of multiple yet “calmer” versions of this health crisis, in the beginning of September, an episode that mimicked the events of 9 years ago came knocking at the door again.

Sam is now home recovering daily from the roller coaster of auto-immune impairments, working with multiple specialists near and far to nail down exactly what this is so she can begin an even deeper healing process and see what's to come of the fruitful darkness this time around.

Because of these severe physical limitations she is out of work and the studio for the unforeseeable future. To support our owner , Yana is holding a donation based class where all the funds will go to Sam and her girls to help alleviate the financial burden and medical needs to keep her family afloat so she can focus on getting her health back.
