The fight for Life

Life has many twists and turns. To hear the now too common phrase "you have cancer" is not the phrase you want to hear in your circle of Life, especially at the age of 29. Two months ago, Yamire heard this familiar phrase, and vowed to his mother, sister, family, and friends he would beat this. This journey has had more downs than ups, and but with every twist and turn, he continues to see triumph. He has been through days of pain, numerous tests, surgery, chemotherapy, and now dialysis, all with slight improvement. Medical expenses are unimaginable, however with the power of prayer, support, and love from his family, he's determined to complete every treatment with faith.

This diagnosis comes as a huge surprise to Yamire and his mother, Kandee. From being a very active father, son, brother, and friend, to wondering what the next day will bring, has been extremely difficult. We are asking for friends and family, from NC to FL and beyond to unite and support Yamire's fight during this very difficult time.

He lives by the quote "pain is weakness leaving your body." By contributing to this fundraiser, you will be helping Yamire and his mother Kandee with medical needs, daily travel, and expenses, as prayers for healing and strength continue to be prayed.
