Wow. So, it comes to this. I’ve fought against this for so many months since having the stroke, telling myself, and anyone who asked, that things are okay. I am great. Things are good. Surely I’ll be back to work soon, or maybe my disability will come through, and I can, at least, get back to work part-time. Things just aren’t going the way we had hoped. And we are so far behind, it hurts. My main concern is feeding my crew- 6 hungry pups and one grateful cat. The stroke took me out of rescue, but i still had my babies to care for, and we are struggling. If you can help in any way, we would be in your debt. I am still trying to find my way back to my work family, and I have just been pointed in a new direction which, hopefully, gets me a lot closer to that goal!
