Yadira Strong: Standing Beside Our Sister in the Fight of Her Life

Just one week or so after celebrating her 30th birthday, our beloved lead dental assistant, Yadira, received the devastating news that she has breast cancer.

Yadira is a role model and an extremely important part of the Green Valley Smiles/PDS Health family. She brings her whole self—her strength, her compassion, her energy, and her pride—into everything she does. Whether she’s mentoring or training new assistants, supporting our doctors, or lifting up every single person on our staff, Yadira gives 100% of herself every single day.

Now it’s our turn to give back to the woman who’s always given so much to us.

As Yadira begins this incredibly difficult journey, we want her to know that she is not alone. We are with her—every step, every treatment, every day. But cancer comes with more than emotional and physical challenges; it also brings unexpected financial burdens. Medical bills, time off work, and countless other expenses can quickly add up.

We are rallying together as a family to help ease those burdens and allow Yadira to focus on healing, not finances. We want her to feel the love she’s poured into all of us, reflected back tenfold.
