Help a Single Mom Avoid Eviction

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in my life. As a single mom and student, I’ve been working hard to provide for my children and build a better future. But after leaving a domestic violence situation, I’ve fallen behind on my bills and am now at risk of eviction.

The person I thought I'd marry was in prison for a long time. When he got out, instead of stepping up to help, he added to my struggles. The abuse I endured was more mental than physical—constant manipulation, control, and emotional exhaustion that left me feeling drained and alone. I’ve fought hard to break free, but now I’m in a tough spot financially.

I don’t have a reliable car to get to school, work, or take my kids where they need to be. I’m trying to catch up on my bills so we don’t lose our home. I just need a little support to get back on my feet and create stability for my children.
