This is difficult for SO MANY reasons.
Anyone who knows Valerie and I, is well aware that we have always worked to get our kids through anything. ANYTHING.   There's very little we can do here.
Our Son and his Wife Cora recently BLESSED us with our first Grandson Asher. Asher is now a whopping 5 months old.  5 MONTHS. 
Cora is a proud, wonderful Mother to Asher.
 She recently took time out of work and drove down to visit family in Florida so that her parents could spend time with Asher.
Problem is, when she was there, she had a massive seizure.  Cora was rushed to the ER at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where they ran many tests including an MRI, which revealed a significant mass in her brain.
Doctors say this is something called a Cavernoma or Cavernous Malformation. This will require surgery for removal at some point in the near future.
The thing is, we live in the U.S. - Healthcare isn't a right. 
They are going to need more help than we as a family can possibly give them. There are copays, Medical bills, Travel for tests and treatment, Hotels, Child Care for Asher and of course, all the normal expenses that come with starting a new family. In addition, Cora can no longer work and is unable to drive at this point, because of the risk of seizures.

This was definitely not on our radar. You never know what life is going to throw at you though. I thought it made sense to ask for help for them.
Cora is 21 years old. A new Mother and a great one at that. She was working her ass off to give her new family everything they needed.
Her Husband ( my Son ) Dylan, works his ass off and is on the fast track for success in his dream job. In the mean time, the Doctors and hospitals ( and banks, landlords, gas, electric, water companies ) still want to be paid. 

So PLEASE, help if you can or if you want to, Go fund me requires an amount or goal.  We set this one as low as possible, though there is no way to know what the actual financial toll on their family will be. This will obviously be a rather large bump in the road. Help them if you can. PLEASE don't donate if doing so will hurt you in any way. We will get through either way. PLEASE don't under estimate how much even the smallest donation will help and be appreciated more then words can say.
