Ukrainian family fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello friends and family!
For the past few months, we have been hosting Alex, Inna and Artem, a refugee family from Ukraine. Artem and his family fled Ukraine due to the Russian invasion on Apr 11, 2022. Russian forces left their hometown, Volnovakha, outside Mariupol, in ruins.
Alex, Inna and Artem are working to adjust to life in America. They are making friends in the neighborhood and community. They are kind, hard-working and generous people. Artem plays soccer with little Owen and is teaching him some nice footwork!
As you know, it is so challenging to start over from scratch. Even though we are doing what we can, unfortunately, we cannot cover all costs and so need some help. In addition, their immigration process is SLOW, and refugee support agencies are overwhelmed.
Money raised will go towards helping Alex, Inna, and Artem make a good stable life here. Artem is in high school, so he needs to focus on his schoolwork and not on trying to support the family. Their car is unreliable so some money for repairs would be appreciated. Also, they will need funds for an eventual security deposit when they rent their own place. They are hoping to become citizens.
All funds will go to the family.
We are very grateful for any donation, and we all thank you in advance, for your kindness and for caring. Please share this gofundme with any organization you are a member of. Artem, Alex and Inna have suffered so much cruelty and deserve so much kindness.
