I will start with thanking you for taking the time to read this. My name is Elizabeth and I have been very blessed to have a happy, healthy dog for almost 9 years. Betsy is the most loving, playful, loyal companion and I am so grateful to call her mine. Unfortunately, she has a torn cruciate ligament (aka ACL) and can no longer walk without severe pain. I had hoped she would adjust and heal on her own but that is no longer an option. Asking for a handout is hard for me, but I can’t worry about myself right now. She is my responsibility and I have to do whatever it takes to save her life.  Euthanizing her is not an option, it never will be. So, here I am, asking for support. I do not want to put pressure on anyone but if you are capable I would appreciate it more than you could ever know. I don’t want to lose my best friend. I have been approved for a portion of the surgery cost but it’s not enough. If a prayer is all you have to offer, I will take it! We thank you, appreciate you, and  God bless every single one of you.
