Fighting for Tammy

Thank you for taking the time to read this story and take interest in our cause. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for cancer treatments for our Tammy Rhodes.
To know Tammy, is to love her. You just can’t know her without loving her. Being around Tammy, you truly feel like you belong to her. It does not matter if you are a little one in the nursery at church, a long-time family friend, or an elderly couple across the street, if Tammy knows you, she loves you and loves you hard. Tammy Rhodes is a constant light. She shines into your life just as Christ has called her to. If there is a need anywhere that Tammy knows about, she will give any means possible to help meet that need, no questions asked. When you see Tammy, you can see Jesus. We see in the bible the characteristics of Jesus: compassion, servant, loving, forgiving, committed, prayerful, gentle, patient, self-control, and humble and our Tammy radiates those beautiful characteristics as well.Tammy Rhodes has compassion for all, a servant’s heart, loves without regard, forgives, shows commitment in all she does whether it be her husband, family, friends, church family, work, church youth, etc. Tammy is prayerful, you can trust if she tells you she is praying for you, she is! Tammy is gentle, patient, and humble in ways that should inspire us daily with her never ending acts of kindness and love. We read in the bible that Jesus is our ultimate role model, and Tammy… well she follows that model of Jesus, without holding anything back.
Now, its our turn to show Tammy and Ross just how much they means to us, and how much we love her, and the light that she has given this world through the love she has for Christ, and for all of us.
In 2016 Tammy was diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma. She has been to many doctors, fighting different diagnoses’, tests, surgeries, insurances coverages and lack thereof, as well as doing her absolute best to make the healthiest decisions possible for her body. Tammy has shown beautiful strength and faith through the entire process.
Now a new doctor has decided a treatment plan that would be the best option for Tammy’s diagnosis, yet it is not yet covered by insurance, at all. The treatment will cost $30,000 and will be admitted over a 8 week period beginning the week after Thanksgiving. Tammy will get her port inserted on the 19th of November, and will begin her first set of treatments the following week. Her treatments will be 2x a week the first two weeks, then 1x a week for the remainder. She will also be getting IVC Treatments in between, that will nourish her body with the best vitamins specifically for Tammy. Due to none of the treatment or time off from work is covered under insurance during her treatment, Tammy and Ross will be paying completely out of pocket, and must pay the bill up front for each treatment. The first week Tammy starts her treatment she will need a minimum of $7,000.
Any amount that you are willing to bless Tammy with is appreciated with the sincerest gratitude. Tammy has impacted more lives then than she realizes in more ways than can be counted. If you would like to share a way that Tammy has shown the love of Christ in your life in the comment section of your donation, we would love to send words of encouragement to Tammy during her treatment process!
Thank you all!
