Please Help the Renstrom Family Stay Afloat

Tyler Renstrom is my son's best friend and the son of my best friend, Melanie Christiansen Renstrom.

And Ty needs our help.

After months of unexplained back and leg pain—and countless trips to doctors and hospitals with no answers—he was finally diagnosed today with cancer. A tumor was found in his femur, and tragically, it has already spread to his lymphatic system.

This news has devastated all who love him.

Ty isn’t just fighting for his life—he’s fighting for his family. He’s the devoted father of five amazing sons and a loving stepfather to three more—eight boys in total. Ty recently lost his job, and while he’s been looking for work, his incredible wife Lanay stepped up to support the family. Sadly, she too lost her job just weeks ago.

Now they’re facing a mountain of medical bills, rising living expenses, and an uncertain road ahead—all while trying to stay strong for their children.
