Michael's Road To Recovery

Hi, My name is Melanie Rodriguez, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my husband. My family and I would usually not ask for assistance, but we needed help. My husband, Michael, is the kindest and most selfless human being I know. He has fallen on hard times. Sometimes health can take a significant turn without you knowing until it’s too late and you go into septic shock. Due to several infections and complications, Michael’s choice was life or death, and he chose life. With choosing life, his right leg was below the knee amputated in early September. He’s still healing and adjusting to his new life as an amputee. While daily life can be frustrating, Michael is not giving up and will continue to fight to regain his independence and mobility. We are trying to raise money to purchase an Electric wheelchair and to help with the rising costs of Michael’s medical bills.
