On Sunday January 28th Jocelyn received the devastating news that her husband Marcel died in an ice fishing accident earlier that day. Marcel not only leaves behind Jocelyn, but also their 11 year old son Jesse. Marcel was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and anything else that got him outside in nature. He was a loving father and husband who was dedicated to his family and friends and this loss has been devastating to Jesse & Jocelyn Ouellet, the Ouellet family and Frison family.

So many friends and family have graciously been looking for ways to help and support Jocelyn and Jesse at this time and we felt a go fund me was the best way.

These funds will be used to help support Jesse and Jocelyn in the coming months as they try to navigate a new normal. We would love to help ease some of at least the financial burden so that Jocelyn and Jesse can take the time they need to grieve and heal without worry. Jesse is feeling the sudden tragic death of his father immensely and has already started to worry about how they will manage without his father and how he can step up to protect his mother and take care of her.

Jocelyn is the most generous and kind person you would encounter and the first to step up to the plate to pay it forward and Jesse is one of the most kind hearted 11 year old boys you could meet. She isn’t one to ask for help and will struggle with the generosity of her vast circle of friends and family Let’s show them how our community of friends and family can ease the burden of one of our own. No gesture is too small, kind words are welcomed and encouraged.
