Dear Family & Friends,
On Thursday, May 10th my family received the worst phone call anyone could possibly receive. Dougie was admitted into the ICU. He’s currently on life support and has no brain activity. He’s been diagnosed with pneumonia and as of now they are keeping him comfortable in a medically induced coma with not much hope for a positive outcome. Of course my family & I are still trying to keep our faith alive and praying for a miracle. This such an unexpected tragedy considering he’s only 41 years old. To know him, is to love him. He could make light of any situation & turn negatives into positives. He works as a chef which is one of his many attributes. He loves to cook & is extremely good at it. He’s an amazing son, brother, father & friend and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. We are all completely heartbroken and are trying our best to stay strong. A lot of people have been reaching out to my family and I asking for ways they can help so with that being said, my family & I are humbly asking for donations to help us relieve the financial stress that comes with an unexpected event like this. All money donated will be used for any medical bills & future funeral arrangements. We are all extremely grateful for all the well wishes, prayers and continuous support we have received. Thank you to each and every one of you.
