שמעוןן אוחנה הגיע ללוס אנג'לס לפני שנה וחצי עם משפחתו בתקווה לעבוד ולפרנס את משפחתו בכבוד מאז הוא עובד כפיים ומפרנס את ארבעת ילדיו בדוחק וללא עזרה מאף אחד. ביום שני האחרון ה20 לאפריל בשעה 10:10 בלילה שמעון שהה בביתו יחד עם משפחתו כששמע רעשים מבחוץ וחשב לבדוק אם השכנה שלו שגרה בגסט האוס בסדר, הוא דפק לה בדלת והיא פתחה בבהלה תוך כדי שהיא יורה בו מאקדח 9 ממ, עד עכשיו לא ברור מה גרם לה לעשות מה שעשתה והוסיפה חטא על פשע בטענה שהוא בא לתקוף אותה , שמעון התמוטט כשניסה להגיעה חזרה לדלת ביתו ופונה למיון כשילדיו ואשתו לידו חווים איתו את הטראומה , אנחנו מבקשים מהקהילה היקרה שלנו להירתם ולעזור על מנת שנוכל לממן את הוצאות המשפט ולהוכיח את חפותו ובנוסף לעזור למשפחה להתכלכל בכבוד מאחר ושמעון כרגע בבית חולים עובר סדרת ניתוחים וצפויה לו תקופת שיקום ארוכה ,ולשלם את הוצאות הטיפולים הרפואיים מאחר ואין לו ביטוח בריאות ,מדובר בפידיון נפש של ממש.
Shimon Ohana came to Los Angeles a year and a half ago with his family hoping to work and support himself with dignity. Since arriving, he has worked tirelessly without help from anyone, yet only to barely get by supporting his wife and four children. Last Monday, April 20 at 10:10 pm Shimon was at his home with his family when he heard outside noises and thought to check if his neighbor who was living in the Guest House was OK. He knocked on her door but only for her to open in a panic while shooting him with a 9mm fire arm. So far it's unclear what brought her to do what she did and commit such a crime on the grounds that he came to attack her. That being said, Shimon collapsed as he tried to get back to his doorstep and was subsequently rushed to the emergency room all while his wife and children were at his side experiencing this agony with him. We ask our dear community to help them raise money to not only prove his innocence but to also help the family support themselves. Shimon is currently undergoing a series of surgeries. He's expected to have a lengthy rehabilitation period with no medical insurance to pay for these medical expenses. This situation is truly heartbreaking and your help is desperately needed.
