On January 30th Jerry suffered a massive stroke. He was immediately air lifted to Santa Rosa Hospital. On February 16 he was transferred to Kentfield Rehab Center for further rehab. He has made a lot of progress on his road to recovery, but still has a long road ahead. He loves it when people come and visit, but sometimes that can be difficult. With the help of an iPad he will be able to facetime with family and friends while in rehab. There are also some games and communication apps that can enhance his recovery. His wife Patty has also taken time off of work to be at his side. Being out of work and traveling back and forth between the hospital and the home that her and Brett are staying at is also an added expense. We are hoping that we can show them some love of our small community and gather some money to get him his own iPad and to help cover some of their traveling expenses.
