Help Marisa Fight Cancer

Hi, please help my friend Marisa battle her way through cancer.  Marisa is married to my best friend, Stacy.  Stacy is the beneficiary on this account and she will be able to transfer funds directly to their bank account to use for the the medical expensises that are quickly growing.  

 

Marisa first felt a lump in the side of her neck in mid-April 2022. After a doctor's visit, ultrasound, and a referral to an ENT surgeon, a thyroid F.N.A. ( fine needle aspiration) was done. 13 biopsies were taken that day of the tumor. Lab results came back and confirmed that it was cancer. Marisa was then referred to a specialist for head and neck surgeries.

 

Surgery day arrived; the surgery was more extensive and took longer than expected. In recovery, Marisa had trouble breathing, and an emergency tracheotomy had to be performed; Marisa then had to spend the night in ICU. Three days after the surgery, the trach tube was removed, and she was able to go home.

 

Her vocal cords have been damaged due to the extent of the disease. Marisa is now waiting to hear what kind of cancer it is and what the next steps are in the recovery process.

 

Marisa is an absolutely amazing person, she lives life to the fullest, she loves and works with children and gives them her all. Now is a time when she needs help, this has taken a toll on Marisa financially; please give what you can.
