Ntnl Haitian Sickle Cell Disease

Many families and friends have been affected by this dreadful, debilitating, and incurable disease  called "Sickle Cell Anemia" (Maladie Anémie Falciforme).    With a burning desire to join this fight, we are eager to find a better way in providing hope to the impoverished Sickle Cell Haitians living in Haiti and dedicated to help finding Haitians living with the Sickle cell disease for early diagnosis and treatment. The lack of medical care and early detection of the disease in the country make it impossible to the local Haitians mostly in the province and rural areas to receive needed care.

The mission is to demonstrate the desire to live by improving the health of the Haitians living with Sickle Cell Disease by:
-Building a Sickle Cell Health Center
-Reaching out and promoting hope, healthy living and compassion
-Spreading awareness throughout the nation and educating the population
-Advocating and promoting early detection of the disease
-Helping manage the disease and restoring family relationship and support

Your donation will go toward:
•  purchase sickle cell anemia tests
• subsidize the cost of a treatment/medications for Sickle Cell individuals
• pay half the cost to train and equip personnel save lives
• provide individuals (adults or children) with infusion/hydration and pain management treatment during difficult sickle cell pain or crisis.
