- My Mom has Chronic Kidney Disease ( Stage 5). In June 2025, she was in the hospital for Thyroid/Kidney problems and hasn't worked since. I am working; however, bills do add up. She is going to be doing Peritoneal Dialysis at home . She'll have surgery to put a catheter in her stomach for the rest of her life. In the future, once dialysis starts, she'll need to start applying to be placed on a kidney transplant list.
6/22: My mom is finally home after 6 days in the hospital. I thank everyone who offered help, and any amount is appreciated.
6/28: Mom went to her Nephrologist. She has Chronic Kidney Disease, stage 5. She isn't able to work until further notice. I thank those who donated $125; we put it towards the electric bills.
