Mom's Cancer Treatment

Hello, Friends and Family;
This past Christmas Eve our family was hit with the news that our mother, Kimber Sprague Bennett, had been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, with a tumor that has since then grown to "the size of a watermelon."
At the time, her doctors gave her at the most, 5 years to live IF the chemo worked; 1 year to live if she refused chemo and to just go her way and enjoy her remaining time on earth.
Believing that chemo was not the right path for her, Mom chose to pursue alternative medicine and has spent the last few months in clinics around Alaska undergoing treatments. Our family rallied together to help her through this, paying out of pocket for treatments, lodging and traveling expenses and also since most of the family live out of state, taking turns flying up to care for her personal needs.
A few days ago we discovered a clinic in Regina, Canada, called Clear Health Inn; they have a 3 to 6 week cancer care program that does treatments every day, along with a special meal plan that is extremely important to her healing. This alternative medicine treatment will aggressively attack the cancer and they accepted Mom into the program to start immediately.
We were ecstatic to find this option as all other routes in the US have been exhausted and this is our last hope and attempt for our Mom to have a real chance at surviving this cancer.
She just turned 61 years old last month and she has 10 kids and 32 grandkids with her first great-grand baby on the way. We need our mom and our grandma to stay with us as long as she can.
Before this clinic will start treatment, our family has to come up with at least 12,000 to start the 3 week program with our goal at 25,000 to do the whole 6 week program . She is supposed to be there on Monday, the 25th of February...and that's why we are reaching out to folks to ask for help to foot this bill and get her treatment started ASAP. As you know, every cent helps and we all are grateful for your kindness and generosity.
