Today, July 14th, 2025, our Jamie (Alvarez) would have been 22. He should still be with us but he's not and the pain of his absence is beyond words. Our world has been shattered by his sudden passing. We understand this loss is felt deeply way beyond his immediate family and we would like the community who loved him, to be a part of this stage of his journey.

In the words of Jamie's friends, 'his heart was set right' and we would like to give him the sendoff he deserves but need some help to cover funeral costs so we can bring him home and lay him to rest in his home town of London, among his people.

We, his family, have launched this GoFundMe to meet the costs of a proper funeral. We appreciate any contribution no matter how small to meet our target and would like to extend an open invitation to Jamie's friends to come and be with us as a family to share our stories as a way of keeping him close.
