My Best friend Elizabeth and Family just celebrated their oldest son Mason’s graduation from SCHS! As many typically do, they planned a celebration trip to Oak Island to celebrate this special milestone in Mason’s life. It was planned to be a trip filled with just their family and much needed relaxation. However, shortly after arriving Kevin had two heart episodes and was rushed to the nearest hospital and within 24 hours was transported by ambulance to Wilmington. They determined Kevin had a heart attack and had 3 blockages: Two were 100% and one 80%. Kevin had to endure a triple by pass on Tuesday 6/10/2025. He will be in ICU and then will be in the hospital at least 7-10 days. Liz and Kevin are 5 hours from their home and now facing the recovery process so far from loved ones.
