Help John's Family with Funeral Expenses

Aloha Everyone family from Hawaii and beyond!

This is our Dad John Keohohina Sr. and he passed away on Friday April 11th, 2025 at 80 years old. This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do by putting our Dad to rest as he suffered a major stroke for the second time. Once in 2020 and last year which paralyzed him making him locked to a bed in the hospital and in the care home at Hilo.

In the past eight months he battled against the stroke to get better but instead it was extremely overwhelming for him and hard for our ohana at home to witness the pain he was experiencing daily. Our Dad was a hero in our eyes growing up, faithful to our Mom and to God. He loved his parents who lived in Waimanalo and his 7 siblings.

A quiet man who loved to enjoy a few drinks especially after a hard day of work. Our Dad worked at Ho'omaluhia in Kaneohe and Foster Garden off of Vineyard Blvd. He loved working with nature and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

Dad's children daughter Artlyn, son in law Todd, son John Keohohina Jr., daughter Joanna, son in law Thomas, Adrienne, Krissy and Solomon. Former daughter in laws Katherine and Leayla.

He was Papa John to many starting with the eldest Grace Ola, Mary, Dave, Paul, Charity, Thessica, Chelsey, Steven, Naehu, Cheyanne, Chalei, Kainalu, Noah, Izaiah, Chasity, Ilaias, Ruby and Joy. Tiani, Joshua and Keola and 22 Great-grandchildren his legacy.

The funeral arrangements are costly and we need your help. We are just shy of the amount necessary to give our Dad the best possible send off we can. We are asking if you wouldn't mind contributing to help us raise the 10.000 dollars we need to help bury our Dad. Every little bit counts no matter the amount, we would definitely appreciate all that is given to help us in this matter for our Dad.
Mahalo Nui Loa,
John Keohohina's ohana.
