I am in need of a little assistance! As some of you might already know, I was recently hired as the head football coach for Firebaugh High School. I feel that God has blessed me with this great opportunity, to show the players of this small town there is so much more out there. Many of these kids have never been to the beach, some players feel like going to Fresno is an out of town trip.
On July 8 and 9, I would like the opportunity to take these deserving young men to Pismo, to compete in a passing league/lineman competition. I feel like it would be a great way to get pumped up and prepared for this upcoming season, and will also serve as bonding time for both the students and coaches. Unfortunately, there is no money in our account. In order to make this happen, I will have to fundraise $3,100 to take the team. This amount includes tournament fees, the camping sites, meals, and buying tents.
I have fundraising plans and we're starting to get the ball rolling. In the short term, raising this money quickly, is the only way we will be able to go this year.
