Hi my name is Rebecca King. Michael my husband heard trouble down stairs in our apartment, in the early hours of Tuesday morning. He headed downstairs to help and was body slammed down 7 stairs hit a parked car than hit the pavement. He is suffering from a shattered left hip, broken left femur, broken right hip and broken ribs. His injuries required emergency surgery. He has a rod in his femur, and some rods and pins in his left hip. He is in excruciating pain. Michael takes care of everything for his family the rent the bills the food everything. I am 51 years old, I have suffered from cancer and currently have a heart condition which Prohibits me from working. I do collect disability but it is not nearly enough to pay these bills. We are not the type of people to ask for help in fact Mike is not happy about this page at all. All of the responsibilities of the household have fallen on my son Aaron King who works part time at Home Depot. It’s only been seven days and I can see it is taking its toll on him. All I want is to be able to pay these bills that Mike is unable to. Michael stood up today and that was an accomplishment he hasn’t gotten out of bed for seven days since the attack. He’ll be in the hospital for at least two months at the very least, but he won’t be able to work for who knows how long.

I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and shares it for me. Even the smallest amount would help us by a few groceries and dog food. I would really love to keep my family under the same roof we’ve been living for the past 17 years. I am also asking for prayers. Many prayers if you please.
