Kaden's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Kelly Clark. My wife Julie and I are asking for your help.
We have three beautiful children; Kennedy and Kaden, twins age 12, and Cooper age 8.
Our son Kaden is the kindest, most caring kid in the World. We love him to death and there is nothing we would not do for him, including asking for your help. Those of you with children know exactly what we are talking about. Those of you who know me also know how difficult it is to ask for help.
We have spent the last three years traveling to the Devos Children's Hospital to visit the Endochrinologist. We have had every test imaginable done. We have met with doctors, nutritionists, counselors and even a hypnotherapist to try and address Kaden's health concerns.
Kaden has been diagnosed with short stature disorder and is in the less than 1% for height and weight on the growth chart for his age.
His twin sister is double his weight and a foot taller than he is. When we tell people we have twins, they assume he is twins with his younger brother. More concerning to us is that at his yearly check up this February, he weighed 61 lbs., one pound less than he did a year ago. You can imagine what this does to a pre-teen's self esteem.
We are seeking donations to begin HGH (Human Growth Hormone) treatment. We know this will be a painful process, but have run out of options. Like most parents, we simply want our child to reach his fullest potential
Any amount you can give will go a long way to having a positive impact on his life and would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
