A Life Worth Fighting For

Carson, his wheelchair, and the equipment he requires has grown since we made this video.

Carson’s inclusive life is very vulnerable due to a lack of accessible transportation.

We lift Carson, his wheelchair and his equipment, in and out of the vehicle separately several times each time we leave the house. This compromises Carson’s dignity and his (and our) safety in so many ways! We are reliant on bringing staff with us everywhere we go in order to help transfer him and maintain his position.

We feel grateful and proud of Carson’s team of family, friends, allies and professionals who remain committed to supporting our vision to provide him A Life Worth Fight For! There is genuine effort and commitment to building and sustaining capacity Even with incredible support, we are feeling isolated at times and limited always.

We can’t do this alone! We need your help! Carson shows up for the world whenever he’s at his best and the impact he has is profound. Keeping him healthy and getting him out there takes extraordinary effort from him and everyone around him.

We have fundraised a little over $11,000.00 so far. The price of the vans and the accessibility conversion has increased significantly since we started this endeavor. The conversion alone is $60,000.00!

We have started shopping, but we need more funds before we can make a purchase.
