Love Above the Storm: Helping Our Members Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

My name is Kdee Mcneil, a Jamaican nurse living in the US and I'm one of the Vice presidents of Love Above Everything Ministry. When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it left behind more than physical destruction, it left families shaken, dreams shattered, and hearts overwhelmed with loss. Among those devastated are members of our very own Love Above Everything Prayerful Singles Ministry, people we pray with, worship with, laugh with, and do life with. Today, they are facing one of the hardest seasons they have ever known. Homes have been washed away. Livelihoods have been destroyed. Personal belongings, the things they worked years to build, have been lost in minutes. Some are now left without a safe place to sleep. Others are struggling to find food, clothing, and transportation. Many are trying to stay strong while silently fighting fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak. Yet even in the midst of this storm, we believe something powerful:

Love is stronger than loss. Hope is stronger than the storm.

And together, we can rebuild what was broken. As a ministry, we refuse to stand by while our brothers and sisters suffer alone. This GoFundMe is our way of saying:
