It's with a very heavy heart that i have to do this!
I help the homeless and people in need and this time it's a very dear friend needing help.
last week her sweet 3 year old dog blaze was rushed to the vet where he had to have an emergency surgery. He somehow ingested a piece of string and a piece of plastic and was fully blocked. He came home after 2 days at the vet and had to be rushed back to the vet 2 days later as recovery wasn't going well. He wasn't eating and when he drank the water would just run out of his mouth and around his incision was very red, swollen and full of infection. The vet ran several tests and determined there was nothing they could do for blaze and he had to be euthanized. Luckily and thankfully blazes family was able to be with him and say goodbye. It wasn't easy and they never thought when they walked in that they would have to leave without him.
Blazes parents were and are devastated and feel as though they lost a child. Their 2 children understand what happened and miss their buddy.
Their bill was over $2300 plus $350 for cremation. The only savings they had was back to school money and they put $400 of it on their bill leaving them with a bill of $2250
I am asking anyone that is able to make any size donation to please do so. They are a great little family with lots of love and right now a ton of grief and a huge bill.
I can provide the bill and the vet clinic to those who donate.
