I am in POLAND helping women & children of Ukraine

HELP UKRAINIAN REFUGEES IN POLAND

 

My name is Artur Stuart. I am a lawyer in Canberra, Australia, being born and raised in Poland until 1987. I was privileged to complete my school and universities in Australia - the “promised land” and the land of happiness.

 

My fundraiser is to

1. reduce the personal costs on Polish families who are providing much needed accommodation to Ukrainian refugees including food and utilities, as a result of the Putin’s war, and

2. create more opportunities to house refugees.

 

No Government has enough resources to look after these adults and children, hence my plea to everyone to help them.

At this stage, there is no support for these families in Poland. There is nothing other than good heart and love of local people.

My plan: 
1. meet with presbyteries of Catholic Church in Chojnice and surrounding areas that know of families who provided accommodation to Ukrainian refugees;
2. Request them to provide assistance to these families with the money I have raised here. 
3. Sharing these funds equally among these presbyteries.

I am travelling to Poland on a self funded trip (personal cost).
