Hi my name is Valerie, I am the sister of Fernando Ruiz. On October 7th, 2025 we lost a father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle to a long battle with addiction. His children and our family are left to carry the financial burden of giving him a proper goodbye. In 1998 Fernando was ran over by a drunk driver, which began his long battle with addiction. Despite Fernando’s addiction he was the kindest person, who would have given his last to anyone in need. Fernando had a good heart and his smile could light up any room he was in. We are asking for any help we can get in these rough times. No mother, father or child should have to bury their son/father. We would appreciate anything that will help in time of need. Thank you.
