My name is Amanda. I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of the Kent family. On February 28th, Audrie went in for what should have been a routine angiogram, in search of answers for some medical issues she was experiencing. She was sent home following the procedure, but something never felt right. At the urging of her husband, she returned to the ER and was sent for a CT. The hospital continued to tell her she would be fine and it was just the aftereffects of the anesthesia. Fast forward 24 hours later and another visit to a different ER, an MRI showed she had been having multiple strokes in both hemispheres of her brain. She was admitted to the hospital and was sent for numerous tests. The result of these strokes is damage to areas of her brain. While the neurologist expects her to make a full recovery, he is unsure of the time frame. This stroke has left her exhausted, unable to stay awake for long periods of time, unable to work for the time being, and struggling to help care for her kids. Anyone who knows Audrie knows she is the first one to offer help and support to anyone and everyone in need, and this time she needs our help to take care of her and her family.
