Gardenia's Stem Cell Transplant

Gardenia Loya was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 04-17-2015 one of the hardest days of our lives. Gardenia has always been a gypsy soul and loved to go mudding in her rain boots. One day she had literally no energy to even want to play. Being a mama bear I knew it was more than an allergy ( as her doctor said). We rushed her to the ER to findout our worst nitemare came true. Not knowing much about leukemia we quickly learned. Gardenia has gone through a countless amount of of pain in just four years of her life. Chemotherapy has taken its toll on her spirit. She's not understanding why her hair looks like a boy or why she can't play outside like normal children. It's been a roller coaster ride in just nine months. Today we find ourselves heading to San Francisco Benioff Childrens Hospital for a consolation for a Stem Cell Transplant. This will be our second visit back in October 4th we went to have gardenia and my husband and myself tested with no complete match. We are do back 2-01-2016 for HLA testing for both my husband & Myself again to see who is the closest possible match. We're both ready to fight this battle with her all the way till she's done and healthy. However today we find it difficult to keep funding our trips my husband just became unemployed and were quickly going through our savings to make sure she has her medications which she needs daily. Methotrexate, Steroids" oh did I mention how much she loves to eat while on steroids ☺️" Tabloid and tons of others. We are truly raising money to help us get by for a few months at least till he is hired back and she has a clean bill of health during her stem Cell transplant Its going to be hard to try & balance two households while leaving Gardenia's siblings behind for the first 30 days. It's going to be a long scary process but I no we will get through this as a team. Thank you all that donate and all that continue to pray for her... God bless you all
