F*ck Cancer - Help Aunt Debbie Fight
Donation protected

Deborah Lynn Massey Fullerton has decided to officially shared her truth - "I have cancer."
My dear loved one, Aunt Debbie is a 48 year old single mother of two young adult boys. People with the privilege of knowing her can tell you how kind hearted, loving, sweet, and nurturing Aunt Debbie is. She's turned her world upside down numerous times to help others literally picking up and moving to aid in their care. Now it's time for us to support her through this battle.
Please help my Aunt Debbie fight for her life and beat cancer!

I, Kelsey Callahan, am asking anyone who's willing to help during my loved one's newly started treatment and (God willing) recovery of stage 3 cancer.
Someone extremely close to me is fighting for their life diagnosed with a "very rare" form of cancer. The "if it's painful, it's not cancer" saying is false. A trip to the emergency room for constant throbbing and increasingly frequent shooting pain in January resulted in concerns, confusions, and referrals. Skip forward two weeks, biopsy results confirmed "positive for cancer."
After two haggard months going around and around with the health care system, on going appointments, and numerous testing, a treatment plan is set. The medicial team has prescribed 5 to 7 weeks of 5 days a week chemo and radiation therapy to shrink the two tormenting tumors.
Currently, "just removing them" is not an option. If the tumors reduce in size, specifically the larger at almost 4cm in diameter, surgery can commence. This week, therapy has officially started - It's Week 1. The new kinds of pain, nausea, weakness, and overall exhaustion has just begun. Spirits however are totally focused and determined on kicking cancer's ass.
As you can see, my wishes-to-remain-anonymous loved one has a long, torturous journey ahead. Pain and suffering has made working extremely difficult. Minimal income earned since January - Maybe $800 total? Car note is past due. Bills are delinquent. Medicine cannot be bought. Thus far, a select few have helped make ends meet including myself ensuring medical appointments are paid, car not repossessed, food on the table, etc. No federal government assistance has been awarded including SSI or food stamps. Luckily, the Harris Health System medical coverage was approved taking affect March 1st; since then, the medical bills have extremely reduced.
I have been through difficult times in my life, far from a cake walk. Imagining a future without this person makes me ill. To continue functioning going through the motions, I've tried my best to block out the what ifs and emotional turmoil focusing on what needs to be done. I'm strong and resilience but it's been tough. While I cannot share the specifics of the situation, I can tell others my side of the hardship and ask for help. Last night, I broke down crying uncontrollably; the weight of helping carry the financial burden is suffocating me. I need help.
My loved one needs help. If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, a prayer is free and can work wonders. Thank you so very much for reading this and for any kindness you're able to bestow. I'll keep yall updated on the weekly progress and hopefully post a 'CANCER FREE' announcement in a couple months.
