Any Help is appreciated

We appreciate all the caring people in our lives. We are here to share that Victoria has unexpectedly become disabled due to Covid side effects. It caused a rare condition called AMNR (Acute Macular Neuroretinopathy). Thankfully V has some peripheral vision, so with partial vision she can get around the house but is challenged with day to day life. We’re told this condition is so rare that less than 1 in 100 people in the world have been impacted. There is no cure for this condition and doctors don’t know if sight will ever return.
Since being affected by a RIF at work and having no success with a job search there is no short or long term disability so the financial impact has been a bit devastating. There have been sizable medical costs so far with more anticipated in the future. SSDI has been filed but this is a long process and looking for help to fill the gap. If there is any room in your budget to make a donation we would be forever grateful. A share to your social media would help reach even more people.
V has put her ego aside to ask for help and we understand things are tight everywhere. Thank you for your consideration as we have no expectations from anyone. The goal may seem large but it only scratches the surface to help us in a position to provide some sense of normality in life moving forward.
It is nearly impossible to read comments posted so if you want to talk with her please call (or message if you need her number) Letters are broken into pieces and to use the accessibility tool for reading posts is painful on social media and the reason she hasn’t been engaged on platforms.
