Save our turtle, Hazel

We rescued our beautiful girl this year. She's a 20+ year old eastern short neck turtle who has a vibrant personality. We've just been advised that she is suffering from a bone infection and must get immediate surgery to save her life. 

Her tank sits in the sunroom, taking advantage of Queensland's sun. Hazel spends most of her days in her tank but loves it when mum and dad take her out to the backyard. She sometimes spends hours walking up and down until she comes up to one of us and wants to go back inside. She has become a part of our family and we can't imagine not having her around.

The funds raised here will go towards her $3,000 vet bill. We love her too much to give up on her - she could live to 70 years of age! We know the surgery is the only choice she has at living out the rest of her years.
