Hello everyone,

My name is Jackie Carter and I'm writing this on behalf of my mom, Sandy Nichols.

My Dad, David, passed away on Sunday June 1st. The last six months of his life was spent in and out of the hospital as he tried to recover from a liver transplant surgery, dialysis, pneumonia, and many other complications.

She is a school teacher and due to my dad's health situation she had to be out of work to care for him. She just received an email notifying her that she had no more sick days and will not be getting a paycheck this month. With all the expenses that come with a death of a loved one, this will be a devastating blow to her ability to survive as she is not quite able to retire yet. So she has to work a little longer.

I know things are still financially tight for a lot of people, so donating to a GoFundMe isn't a priority, but if you could spare something to help my mom get through this difficult situation we'd be so incredibly grateful.
