Hi everyone,

My name is Ava and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My sweet puppy Pickles is turning one year old this Tuesday, but instead of planning a celebration, I’m desperately trying to save her life.

Just a few days ago, Pickles started showing scary signs of being really sick, not acting like her usual happy self. We rushed her to the vet, and after an X-ray, they found what they believe is a foreign object stuck in her intestines. It could be bone, rock, or something else hard. But whatever it is, it’s serious and potentially life-threatening.

The vet said Pickles has all the signs of an intestinal obstruction. If not treated right away, it can turn into a full blockage or deadly abdominal infection. The only safe option is emergency surgery to remove it before it gets worse.

I’ve never asked for help like this before, but the cost of the surgery is more than I can afford alone. I want to give Pickles the fighting chance she deserves.

She’s brought so much love, joy, and laughter into my life this past year. She’s my best friend, my cuddle buddy, and truly family.
