On November 19th, our sweet friends, Megan and Richard Spangle, welcomed their sweet baby girl, Hattie Dale, into this world under less-than-ideal circumstances. Hattie wasn't due until March but decided to do things on her own timeline and meet her parents at just 24 weeks gestation. Weighing in at just 1lb and 3 oz, Hattie the fighter has a long road ahead of her, and so do Richard and Megan.

Our goal here is to help ease the financial burden that comes with having a micro-premie. Megan is off work for the foreseeable future to help care for Hattie while she is in NICU. Richard will return to work later in the week, but Hattie's early arrivial and extensive medical care are sure to take their toll. The Spangles have always been upstanding members of our local community, serving and helping others where they are called. Megan has always been the first to volunteer time, services, and goods that she has made to any fundraiser or event she's asked to participate in.
