From the Moreno family, we are raising cremation costs for the sudden passing of our mom.

Our moms name is Penny Moreno.

Our mom was diagnosed with bladder cancer early last year, and went through multiple chemotherapy treatments in Oroville. The chemotherapy worked up to a certain point.

In the beginning of March, my moms health was not looking great. Eventually, on the 21st of April, my mom was sent to Enloe Hospital with an emergency status, where we watched her undergo many tests, to discover not only was the cancer back, but it was worse, in other words from the doctors, unsurvivable. We were estimated to have so much more time with our mom. She believed she did to, and had so many plans for when she finally was able to come home.

Unfortunately and so suddenly, our mom lost her battle to cancer and passed away on May 11th, 2023 at approximately 1:20am.

We thought we had more time..

In her very last few moments, our mom was surrounded by her family, which included Sebastian, Mauricio, Alexis, our dad Lucio, Reggie, and myself. We are so grateful to have fulfilled that wish of hers and to be together, she always said that loved having her babies together at once.

The staff at Enloe treated our mom and us so well, we know she was in wonderful hands since being admitted almost a month ago.

If you know our mom, she is genuinely such a strong and beautiful woman. She is a gift from above, she is selfless and full of love. A true queen in our family. This woman fought so hard until the end. We will always appreciate what she has done for each of us and as a family.

We remember our mom loving every single person she has ever crossed paths with, and seeing all of your stories about how she impacted your lives one way or another, brings a smile to us. Memories you have of her. We love to hear what our mom meant to you all, and it truly means so much to us.
