Let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Stephanie. For those of you who don't know me, I am a vibrant, beautiful, caring, and wonderful young woman. I am a nurse who serves others every day; I help save lives. It is my calling to be of service to those in need. If I had to ask how my friends would describe me, I would say I'm a very sweet, loving, gentle, and giving person. You know when you become my friend, you have a friend for life. I am always there for you. Except, right now, I have become the one in need. I have turned from being the caregiver to the patient, the friend/giver to the one in need. It has been an extremely tough journey so far.
I am single and have 5 beautiful cats who are all rescues. They have become my emotional support babies, especially as of late. But they cannot help in all the ways needed while I am going through the big C word. Cancer. Not only does cancer affect you physically but it hits hard emotionally, spiritually, and financially too. I have utilized all my savings for past hospital stays/surgeries and have been out of work since August 28th, 2025. The money is gone. I have no money coming in at the moment. I want to work to make a living but i am physically unable to do so. Not only are the medical bills stacking up and some going into collections but, the regular bills are also still rolling in. My body is failing me and I have become in more of a financial need than I ever have before.
I have a fractured spine due to radiation getting rid of the cancer in one location too well. There are 6 other tumors in my spine and one in my arm. I have cancer in my other arm (which i have not yet lost mobility in), both thighs, a rib, and my hip bone. I also have nodules on both adrenal glands, lungs and only 1 kidney left that contains 2 nodules that may or may not be cancer (they removed the other from it being totally compromised with kidney cancer). To say my body is fighting hard is an understatement. It is tired but it hasnt given up.
I am a christian woman who is full of faith and I believe in the total power of the Lord healing me completely. I also know God will provide all my needs in some way. A friend reached out to me and asked me to start a GoFundMe page to see if it would assist in my financial need. I decided I would give it a try. I am grateful for each and every person who may feel led to help me in some way. For those of you who know me, feel free to reach out privately. For those of you who donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your generosity, love, support, and kindness.
