Hello reader, we are raising funds on behalf of our dear friend Tay. They are a Black, queer, and non-binary person of Afro & Afro-indigenous decent. They have had a really tough year of grief and loss of loved ones, loss of their home temporarily and lots of really intense life changes on top of being in their Saturn return (iykyk!). Just when they thought things were getting better and they got their own apartment — the rug got pulled out from under them because their non-profit job ended their contract early with little warning and professional care and they have no safety net of funds! This was an unexpected change!

We are raising funds for them to cover housing costs, utilities, living expenses, cat care for their cat babies, and for them to buy beverages (which they love). They are in the job search and are actively interviewing and searching however the job process is long, scary, and often uncertain.

We hope that these funds can give them a little cushion as they get on their feet. Any monetary contribution would be helpful, along with sharing and boosting on social media.

Any funds raised over the fundraising amount Tay plans to redistribute back to other Black, brown and indigenous folks in need!
