An extended family member of ours has recently left a DV situation. She is married to her partner and they have four kids together, making the privacy and safety of her and her children extremely important. Due to this, we cannot share much personal information.

What I can share is that she has a force of a family who has rallied behind her. She is a brave, loving, and resilient daughter, sister, and mother. While her family is doing everything they can to support her, they are facing their own challenges of providing the extra income for food and essentials for both her and her kids.

Currently, she has a place to stay and has a protection order in place. The next step will be to find a new home, work, and rebuild their lives together. This is where we lean into our local community and ask for your help - through donations if you are able, or through your thoughts and prayers. As you can imagine, or have witnessed through someone else, these circumstances feel difficult, emotional, and extremely vulnerable. Our goal is to provide for her a stepping stone to stand firmly on as she makes the courageous decision to protect herself and her children from any future harm.

All donations will be used to help this mom start living more independently, provide for her children, and cover court and attorney fees.
