In Memory of Sabra Croom

For those of you who knew Sabra already know what a loving, kind, and beautiful woman she was. She was the kind of person that would drop everything she was doing to give a stranger a ride to the ER. She was such an amazing person. I have seen her help so many people in the 3 years I have known her. She loved God and was so intent on her living to make him proud. When she was told she couldn't have babies she took it as God's will. Then she met my little brother and everything changed. She got pregnant!!! She had a hard pregnancy though and by the end of it she knew something was a little off and she talked to her doctor and told him she was feeling really off and kind of depressed. together they determined she had postpartum depression, she struggled with that a little bit because she was so happy to have keagan-sue. but she was also smart enough to know that postpartum depression is a real thing and she didn't just brush it off. They gave her meds and balanced everything out.

Keagan-sue was born October 31st 2014. And she was and is the most perfect little girl. But something happened between February and June 25th 2015. Something none of us will ever understand. Sabra went to her doctor a couple weeks ago to tell him she was having anxiety and had a couple panic attacks. She told him she wanted a referral to talk with somebody. On June 17th the Dr's changed the meds she had been on. And on June 25th Sabra took her own life. It is something nobody understands. If you know her you would know how organized she was. She has files for every bill every paystub, EVERYTHING. If she had planned this she would have left behind a 5000 page book with step by step instructions for everyone in her life and especially for keagan-sue.

We all know that these days just about every household needs 2 incomes. My brother is lost on what to do. He is scared and hurt and the horrible part is my brothers job requires him to be out of town 4 days a week. I know he won't be going back for a few weeks at least.

Sabras family all live out of town they will be having services in New Mexico but he wants to have services for her where our family is and her friends are.

We are asking for help so we can pay for the funeral service here in cottonwood and also for him to be able to move to a different house. He just can't lay down and go to sleep 5 feet from where she took her life. He is also needing help with bare necessities for him and keagan-sue. House hold items, diapers, formula, and bills. Rent is due in a couple days and the electric bill is the highest it has been in a year. If you can please help him we would all pay it forward asap. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
